We offer a relaxed atmosphere on a real working farm that is bustling with positive life and energy. Cricket Creek Farm is an active dairy farm with live animals and farm equipment; it is the perfect setting for anyone interested in having their celebration in a rural setting that is both breathtakingly beautiful and also an example of sustainable agriculture. Various sites can be used for a celebration including several pasture vistas, a historic farm house garden, and a renovated stone barn.

barn

At the heart of our farm is our newly renovated classic New England style stone barn, with expansive views of Massachusetts' highest peak, Mt. Greylock, and the Green Mountains to the north. The northern facade features a floor to ceiling retractable glass wall and to the east is a cable railed deck overlooking the Berkshire hills. The barn retains its agrarian roots with original flooring including hayloft doors while the ceiling of the barn has been reinforced with southern yellow pine buttresses and black steel runners providing the space a rustic-industrial quality. The barn is a perfect place to host your reception of up to 150.

pastures

Our fields are used year round for grazing small herds of Brown Swiss and Jersey cows. With their elevated, open views of the mountains the pastures are also used as ceremony locations and to host events of up to 300 under tents. We have three distinct sites to choose between: the High Pasture (pictured), under the Catalpa tree, or the field on Oblong Road.

stone terrace

Used primary as a cocktail hour location, the stone terrace is attached to the historic farm house that contains our bridal suites. The terrace extends into an intimate garden surrounded by stone walls and perennial beds. Apples, Oaks and Sugar Maples provide shade coverage.
